“Ideas Change the World !”
Welcome to the AiS Lab at UNIST. Information technology is everywhere anytime to make your life smarter and easier. We have witnessed great ideas in wireless communications have entirely changed the world during the past decades! Our goal is to advance the state-of-the art of algorithms and theory for wireless communications and signal processing, preparing competitive and willing students to become leaders in diverse career fields such as academia and industry. Our current interest includes machine learning for signal processing, 5G wireless mobile communications beyond LTE, next generation WiFi, radar signal processing, and underwater sonar communications.
We enjoy collaborative relationship with industry and research institutes worldwide such as Stanford University, NASA USA, Indiana University, Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, ETRI, Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering (KRISO), and etc. We challenge open problems in theory and innovative breakthroughs in algorithms and protocols. The group pursues convergence of information technology with new areas and applications such as mobile communications, underwater surveillance, machine learning-based self-organizing network (SON), smart cars, and etc.
