  • The 5G mobile wireless communications are expected to enable immersive real-time services such as cloud streaming gaming, remote surgery, smart car, and etc. To this end, the end-to-end latency needs to be lowered to several milliseconds, which is impossible in the current network architecture. In this project, we tackle issues in every network and communication hop in the end-to-end network, and develop algorithms to reduce the latency for each hop. The ultimate goal of this project is to show a proof-of-concept.
