  • In the future dense network, targeted by the 5G mobile wireless communication market, the small cell density becomes very high in indoor as well as outdoor environments, as depicted in the figure above. In such scenarios, inter-cell interference significantly limits the system throughput. In this project, we develop interference mitigation algorithms, such as resource allocation and MIMO signal processing, such that the system throughput does not vanish due to interference.
